Theme: Gearing Up For The Next Generation
This year’s LSCS- TechnoKids I.T. Cup 2013 introduced its first Robotics Competition that had brought great excitement as students showcase their excellence and creativity in building and programming robots. The event was held at the De La Salle- University with 22 schools participating in the Quiz Bee Competition and 8 schools participating in the Final Round Match of the Robotics Competition. The Elimination Round of the Robotics Competition was held on December 12 to 15 at the participant’s school which was joined by 17 schools.
The event was empowered by an opening speech given by the Dean of the College of Computer Studies of DLSU, Dr. Rachel Edita O. Roxas which gave students a glimpse on the demand for I.T. graduates followed then by a short talk given by Ms. Vienna Austria on how game and app development better prepares students and teaches for the fast advancing world. And like in the past years, the competition sets on with the wit and humor of the Quiz Bee Master, Sir Renato Molano.
